Meet the Instructor
I embarked on my skincare journey 20 years ago, but it truly began long before that. I vividly recall my teenage years, struggling with acne flare-ups in search of relief. It was during this time that my mother introduced me to The Body Shop (oooh the nostalgia), igniting my love for skincare.
That passionfruit cleanser, cucumber toner, and carrot cream created a sensory experience that captivated me. The ritual of cleansing my face each morning and evening became a cherished practice, while spending time in greenhouses and creating potions and flower bouquets with friends sparked a light inside of me.
Over the years, I’ve seen how beautifully skin responds when we care for ourselves as a whole. With plant based ingredients, unprocessed foods, peaceful resting, trusting intuitions, healthy relationships, joy in our environments, movement, patience over quick fixes, and embracing ourselves as we are, in the moment.
After working with various skincare lines over the years, I began to question whether they were truly benefiting our skin or working against it. This curiosity led me to study herbalism, and that is when my whole world changed. My view of skincare and life became more clear. The missing puzzle piece to not only my practice, but oh so many things. My world was cracked open in the best way possible. And I hope you experience the same in this course.
